Jayavarma Group of Companies is a recognised, standalone textile manufacturing conglomerate with a trusted name and legacy.

J.V. Group of Companies was founded in the year 1975 by Shri. V. Palanisami. This spinning unit was started in the year 1997 as the group spinning arm and to consolidate its position as a vertically-integrated manufacturer with a capacity of 50000 spindles.

A decade later, the second unit was started in the year 2007. Presently, this unit has a capacity of 50000 spindles. The third unit: Manchester Textile Private Limited, with a capacity of 35000 spindles was started in the year 2013. The unit currently has a capacity of 50000 spindles. The present total production capacity of the three units works out to 135000 spindles.

In the year 1991, we commenced the export of infant garments and undergarments to the European market.

To take up the challenge of modernization and to build upon a vertically integrated unit, a soft flow dyeing unit (J.V. Dyeing & Printing) was initiated with the latest circular knitting machines.

J.V. Tapes, the largest manufacturer of knitted and woven elastic tapes in the country right from 1988, is one of the strengths of the JV Group. It was the first ISO 9002 certified unit for design, manufacture and supply of knitted and woven Elastic Tapes in India. Later it was awarded with ISO 9001:2008. This unit hitherto supplies 40% of the elastic requirements of Tirupur city.

We also have a manufacturing unit in the Special Economic Zone at Tambaram, Chennai through which we supply Elastic Tapes on a duty-free basis.

With the intent to render the Group as a composite unit, Jayavarma Textiles(P) Ltd was started in the year 1997. Presently, it utilizes 50000 spindles for the manufacture of 100% cotton hosiery and weaving yarn.

A second unit commenced its operations in the year 2007, and presently, it utilizes 50000 spindles to meet the growing needs of quality yarn in the market.

The third unit – Manchester Textile Private Limited commenced in the year 2013 with 20000 spindles. Currently, the total production capacity of the Group is 135000 spindles.

J.V. Overseas Exports, also a garment unit, forms part of the group’s industrial activities.

The group with a workforce of about 3000 people with a turnover of 500 Crores is poised for an anticipated growth at the rate of 20% per year.
